Taste: A subtly spicy blend of green tea, similar to salted caramel, with the earthy sweetness of spices, piquant rose petals and creaminess of crushed almonds.
This tea is a light and delicious drink at any time of day.
Preparation Instructions (for 2 servings): Add 1 heaping tablespoon of mix to 1 cup of cold water in a saucepan. Bring to the boil & whisk for several minutes until the liquid starts to change colour. This should take approximately 10 minutes. Add 1 cup of ice cold water & whisk again until it comes to the boil. Strain & add milk.
Sweeten to taste.
Traditionally, Kashmiri Pink Chai is served with crushed almonds or pistachios sprinkled on top of the froth.
