Taste: A sweet, fruity drink, traditional in Turkey, with apple pie , and lemongrass to enhance that fresh apple taste.
Apples contain many beneficial antioxidant compounds such as catechins and quercetin which help purge free radicals, which prevent oxidative damage. Oxidative damage is implicated in aging of the body, as well as cancers. Antioxidants help regenerate old cells and repair damaged cells. Flavonoids in apples such as micricetin and kaempherol reduce pain from rheumatic conditions, arthritis and gout. Apples increase the amount of acetylcholine in the brain which improves memory, problem solving and concentration. It also is preventative against Alzheimers and Parkinsons.
Apple tea supports the immune system, helps balance blood sugar, improves gut health and the digestive system, helps treat anemia, and boosts energy.
The ingredients in my tea blends work together in synergy for flavour and function.
