This tea is the most blissful combination of stimulating (black tea) and calming (blue butterfly pea flowers) which gives me a sense of really balanced energy (I can get a bit jittery on strong black tea alone). The flavour develops beautifully when brewed for quite some minutes, but never becomes bitter – I love my tea strong so this is a big plus for me. I drank it black at first then experimented with adding milk and I love it both ways. Watching the colour grow and change in a glass cup or when milk is added is a beautiful added bonus! It is my current absolute favourite way to start the day 🙂
